Application Submission Procedure

Step 1: Complete the Interest Form

Fill out the Delta Alpha Zeta Sorority Interest Form with the required information.
Indicate whether you are applying as a Member or a Chapter Leader.
Ensure all fields are accurately completed before submission.

Step 2: Application & Background Check Fee

Once your interest form is reviewed, you will receive an official application via email.
A $25 background check fee must be submitted along with the completed application.

Step 3: Application Review

After submission, your application will be reviewed by the Membership Committee.
You will be notified via email regarding the next steps, including an interview (if applicable).

Step 4: Membership Confirmation

Approved applicants will receive an official acceptance letter and further instructions on completing the intake process.

Non-Refundable Fees Breakdown

Background Check Fee – $25 (Non-Refundable)
- This fee is required for all prospective members to ensure the safety and integrity of our organization. The background check helps us maintain a morally sound and reputable sisterhood, ensuring that all members uphold our values of integrity, respect, and accountability.
- The background check covers:
  - Criminal history screening
  - Identity verification
  - Social media review (to ensure alignment with our values)
Pledging Fee – $300 (Non-Refundable)
- This one-time pledging fee covers the cost of membership intake and the materials necessary to ensure a meaningful experience. This fee includes:
  - New Member Orientation Materials (Membership Handbook, Bylaws, Policies & Procedures)
  - Official Sorority Pin
  - Sorority Certificate & Membership Card
  - New Member Apparel (Official DAZ Sorority Shirt)
  - Administrative Fees (Operational costs associated with processing applications, membership management, and chapter support)
  - Event Participation Access (Exclusive member-only workshops, networking events, and empowerment sessions)

Ongoing Membership Costs

Monthly Dues: $50 (Non-Refundable)
- Covers ongoing operational expenses, chapter support, and exclusive member resources.
Optional Merchandise & Apparel: Available for purchase through the sorority.
